About the Role
We help P&C carriers modernize Personal and Commercial lines operations – Underwriting, and Claims—using domain depth, data driven process reinvention, and AI (including agentic AI). As a Transformation Manager / Senior Manager, you’ll lead cross functional teams to redesign operating models, digitize workflows, and scale AI enabled capabilities that support profitable growth, reduce loss and LAE, compress cycle times, and elevate the policyholder/claimant experience. You’ll also play a hands-on role in business development, shaping solutions and growing enduring client relationships.
What You’ll Do
Strategy & Operating Model
Diagnose current state Claims across Personal (Auto, Homeowners) and Commercial (SMB, Middle Market, Specialty) lines; identify leakage, rework, and cycle time drivers.
Redesign target operating models and reinvent/ reimaging end-to-end processes spanning Claims (FNOL, coverage/causation, investigation/SIU, subrogation, litigation management, vendor orchestration, and recovery) and Underwriting.
AI, Data & Intelligent Workflows
Lead design of AI/agentic AI end-to-end processes and support enablement of those solutions.
Partner with engineering/data teams design and implement end-to-end agentic workflows (e.g., doc ingestion → policy/coverage retrieval → summarization → suggested adjudication actions) with appropriate human in the loop controls.
Delivery & Change Leadership
Manage end-to-end engagements (assessment → design → pilot → scale); set OKRs, roadmaps, and benefits realization.
Lead small to midsized teams; coach analysts/consultants and client SMEs; drive stakeholder alignment across Claims, Legal, Compliance, SIU, IT, and Finance.
Client Growth & Thought Leadership
Shape proposals and solution architectures; craft business cases and delivery strategy, design, and execution projects
Build client executive relationships; contribute to industry PoVs that support Accenture’s leadership position in the Insurance Consulting industry
Responsibilities:
Adapt methods and procedures to solve moderately complex problems creatively.
Align work with strategic direction set by senior management.
Exercise judgment on solutions; seek guidance for complex issues.
Interact primarily with supervisors, including with client and Accenture leadership.
Develop new ideas and help turn them into go-to-market offerings.
Define methods and procedures for new assignments with guidance.
Manage small teams or work efforts at client sites or within Accenture.
Work as part of a team delivering client value at the intersection of business and technology.
Perform product management and/or product owner responsibilities in the context of consulting and technology implementations.
Travel up to 80%.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years working in management consulting or industry experience with life and annuity carriers focused on technology implementations and/or business process design.
5+ years identifying, leading, shaping, and selling Insurance consulting engagements.
5+ years working in agile delivery, with experience as a product manager or product owner
Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications
Deep functional knowledge of insurance across the value chain (e.g., underwriting, claims, operations, distribution) with the ability to connect strategy to day-to-day execution.
Proven ability to lead end-to-end process reinvention, including redesigning workflows, roles, and decision rights to materially improve cost, cycle time, and customer outcomes.
Experience defining and implementing target operating models that integrate business, technology, data, and AI to sustainably scale value.
Working knowledge of AI and agentic AI applications in insurance (e.g., automation, fraud detection, decision support, predictive analytics) and the ability to translate concepts into practical use cases.
Strong execution mindset with a track record of converting vision into actionable roadmaps, measurable outcomes, and realized business impact.
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to build high performing teams and partner effectively across business, technology, and risk/compliance functions.
