We are seeking a Sales Relationship Manager who will act as a trusted advisor to a key portfolio of both current and prospective clients, with a clear focus on solving problems, delivering impact and building lasting relationships. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue for Trepp solutions across three critical fronts: (1) expanding relationships within our existing customer base through cross-sell and upsell opportunities; (2) winning new business from key whitespace accounts; and (3) positioning and selling our full suite of solutions to maximize customer value
Key Responsibilities
- Existing Customer Growth
- Identify, develop, and close cross-sell and upsell opportunities within assigned accounts
- In coordination and collaboration with Client Services, conduct regular business reviews with customers to uncover unmet needs and introduce additional solutions
- Partner with Client Services, Marketing and Product/Engineering to ensure long-term satisfaction and drive account expansion
- Strategic Whitespace Development
- Prospect and engage key whitespace accounts with high revenue potential
- In coordination and collaboration with Sales Specialists, build multi-threaded relationships across strategic prospects and navigate complex sales cycles
- Lead and deliver tailored pitches/proposals that align with client business goals and demonstrate value across our solution suite
- Relationship Management & Sales Execution
- Serve as a primary Sales point of contact and strategic advisor for assigned customers and prospects
- Manage a healthy pipeline of new and expansion opportunities; accurately forecast revenue and sales activity
- Leverage CRM tools to track progress, identify trends and report on KPI’s
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of B2B and technology-based sales experience in the financial information services/data/credit space.
- Proven consultative sales solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment value statement
- A proven track record of overachieving quota
- Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
- Strong time management skills

Salary:
Base salary starting from $130k plus commission target

Workplace Policy:
Trepp’s offices follow a 3-2 hybrid-working policy with the expectation of in-office work on Tuesday-Thursday and the option to work from home on Monday and Friday.
