Overview
The Learning Experience team supports training strategy and content development across Sunrun. Learning Experience Designers are dedicated to specific Sunrun departments and support their learning needs. This includes onboarding, new products and processes, and department-specific initiatives.
This role is focused on supporting our sales organizations - Air (inside sales), Demand (lead gen), and Field (field sales). The Learning Experience Designer, Sales, will be responsible for content development and content management for learning resources in Current (intranet), and RunX Learning (LMS), as well as developing scripts, slide decks, and other learning content. This role will work closely with the Staff Learning Experience Designer, Sales, who is responsible for driving the learning strategy and working directly with senior stakeholders in these sales organizations.
The person in this role may also be asked to support additional internal LX projects.
Expectations and Outcomes:
Business acumen
Develop a high level of understanding of the sales organization, including how the organization is constructed, how it supports the customer journey, and the policies and processes.
Content Creation
The person in this role will assist in project managing the development of sales content and create the content themselves. A large percentage of time in this role will be dedicated to creating and updating excellent learning content, including knowledge articles, slide decks, and LMS courses.
Content and Knowledge Management
Ensure content stays up to date over time and review/update existing content as new content is developed.
Collaboration and Communication
This role will require collaboration with the Learning Experience team and the sales, as well as partnering with additional support teams.
Plan and Measurement
This role requires regular updates and alignment on weekly and monthly priorities and tracking project completion and impact.

Seek regular feedback regarding effectiveness and opportunities for improvement
Support Key Initiatives
Support key business initiatives as directed by leadership within the Learning Experience team
Requirements:
Background in solar and/or content creation; suggested 2+ years of experience
Background in sales is recommended: suggested 1+ year
Background in design, marketing, or creative roles is not required but is helpful
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective verbal communication; possess the ability to challenge thoughts in a collaborative and curious way
Ability to quickly understand complexity and organize and explain it in a clear and concise way

Strong technical/computer skills (Docs, Slides, Sheets, basic content creation abilities in SaaS tools, Adobe Suite note required but helpful)

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:
$51,552.11 to $68,736.15Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.
