About the Role

Responsible for analyzing data and producing relevant report to support
business needs.
Expected to also work on other data engineering projects such as design/build
of data marts, etc.
Partners with various business units and IT for alignment of business needs
and technology to come up with a high business-value solution.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Partners with various business units requiring data expertise for business analysis. This includes, but not limited to, (1) data and process consultation and recommendation, (2) data-driven status reporting and tracking, (3) identify and bridge gap between business (Business User) and technical process (IT), if needed.
  • Roll-outs new process and technical implementation for team’s alignment, compliance, and usage.
  • Leads the development, maintenance and improvement of Finance databases and ensures efficient processing and production of reports on an on-going basis including ensuring data consistency of data attributes, naming conventions and element value types (data cleansing).
  • Drives the creation of analytical warehouse designs that enable easy and natural end-user access considering business requirements gathered from the users.
  • Maintains quality of data in the warehouse ensuring integrity of data and correcting any data problems; assists with establishing design procedures to purge/archive old data.
  • Coordinates with IT on planning and monitoring of SAS and Finance ODS server growth and processor usage.
  • Provides technical leadership for statistical programming, creating 2 infrastructure standards and SOPs that will support analytic studies and projects. •
  • Leads development and maintenance of SAS programming codes for production of datasets, analyses, and result summaries.
  • Defines, documents and maintains standards for development, testing, validation, and maintenance of reusable programming codes.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Work on other data warehouse and reporting project beyond SAS as part of requirements under the Data Analytics team.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science

Fields of Study: N/A

Years of Experience: At least 5 years of extensive experience of SAS programming language, SAS EG, and background on SAS Office Analytics
