Senior BizOps Engineer F/T
Overview
Delivering high quality business and functional requirements to the development teams for the purpose of completing the design, coding, testing, and implementation phases of the project life cycle.
Role.
• Consult business owners on new projects to understand the business drivers for specific initiative.
• Provide business knowledge and technical support for business requirements development.
• Work closely with analysts from other areas, developers and requesters identifying data and functional requirements in the design of new/enhanced systems.
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with project staff throughout the life cycle of the project.
• Document and coordinate changes and enhancements of products and services.
• Prepare and/or present documentation of business/technical presentations.
• Provide technical support for the members to ensure adherence to requirements. Shift left to be more proactive and upfront in the development process.
• Support daily operations with a hyper focus on triage and then root cause by understanding the business implications of our products.
• Proactively manage production and change activities to maximize customer experience and increase the overall value of supported applications.
• Streamlining and standardizing traditional application specific support activities.
• Centralizing points of interaction for both internal and external partners.
About You
• Position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or as Application Developer, Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Systems Administrator or related.
• Qualifying experience must include at least four (4) years of experience with each of the following: Linux foundation. Able to navigate and use commands while troubleshooting issues; Database concepts and commands, Oracle, SQL, Mongo; Observability tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Datadog; ITSM practices with knowledge on incident management and service desk operations; Ticketing system and workflows in a large corporate setting; Cloud networking (AWS VPCs, Azure VNets).

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay Ranges
O'Fallon, Missouri: $96,000 - $163,000 USD
