What you will do

As a Purchasing Administrator, you will be part of a supportive and professional team that acts as the backbone of in-country purchasing operations. You’ll collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple locations, gain valuable experience, and have access to ongoing training and development opportunities. How you will do it

  • Process customer requests efficiently and accurately
  • Verify input data and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Manage and process purchase requisitions
  • Create and submit Purchase Orders
  • Maintain proper documentation and archive records
  • Communicate with JCI branches, sites, and suppliers
  • Act as a local contact point for inquiries, disputes, and order-related questions
  • Support reporting activities and ensure completion of standard forms
  • Collaborate with your team to meet deadlines and deliver results
  • Provide professional support while maintaining confidentiality
  • Communicate with customers in Italian and English

Your application will be considered if you can evidence the below basic skills and experience:

  • University degree or proven track of relevant work experience
  • Fluent level of English  and Italian  is a must (communication mostly via e-mail)
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to use business systems software
  • Ability to gather, relate and summarize information into logical conclusions
  • Adaptability to a changing role with potential to identify areas of improvement in our processes
  • Process orientation and customer service focus

The initial basic salary for this position will be in the range of €1338 – €2007 per month, plus a 13th month salary applied after your first 6 months in the job. The final package will reflect your experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role. We are committed to fair, equitable, and gender-neutral pay practices.
