SUMMARY

The Selector accurately selects items and packs them into the correct cartons for shipment to the stores. This position will work in various locations throughout the Distribution Center (DC) and utilize a headset to receive instruction during selection.

JOB DUTIES

• Utilize a Radio Frequency headset to receive instruction and give information via voice command. Walks alongside conveyor system selecting items from shelving based on the instruction received from the headset. Equipment-certified Selectors will operate a double jack to drive to locations in order to select items for the order.

• Make up cardboard boxes or lift plastic totes onto rollers for orders.

• Maintain a clean working area throughout the shift by stacking pallets and picking up debris.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Stand or walk on concrete for 8-12 hours per day
• Climb flights of metal stairs and/or metal ladders
• Hand-eye coordination for operating equipment
• Sit, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull and twist
• Lift and move 65 lbs. unassisted and 75 lbs. assisted

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience Minimum: 0-2 years of warehouse experience and/or power equipment experience

Range of Pay for Position (Final pay rate is based on experience and qualifications): $18.00-$24.00
