Title:

Senior Instrumentation/Controls Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare field instrument specifications, datasheets, and procurement documents

  • Perform technical evaluation of field instruments like control valves, shutdown valves, flow instruments, level instruments, pressure instruments, analyzers, etc.

  • Prepare instrument list, IO list, and other deliverables from Hexagon SPI/AVEVA instrumentation

  • Prepare control narratives, cause & effect, system block diagrams

  • Review instrumentation in mechanical packages and provide inputs, perform vendor offer evaluation, vendor drawing review, etc.

  • Provide ICSS-related inputs to the ICSS Package Lead

  • Participate in HAZOP, LOPA, KOM, design reviews, testing, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronic/Control Systems/Instrumentation Engineering

  • Minimum 7 years' of experience in I&C Engineering/Design of Hydrocarbon or Offshore (preferred) Oil & Gas Processing Facilities, Wellhead platforms

  • Working knowledge of Hexagon SPI, either as admin or super user, is highly preferred

  • Good knowledge of control system architecture and functionality

  • Possess good communication skills and leadership qualities

  • Ability to understand client and project requirements and meet the project expectations in terms of quality and schedule
