Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Rolling Meadows, IL. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Payload & Ground Systems division.
Basic Qualifications:
9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
Familiarity with the System Engineering V-Model and prior experience executing the systems engineering workflow.
Excellent communication, organization and coordination skills (working with cross-functional teams).
Experience with payload environmental testing activities (shock, vibration, TVAC, etc.) and acceptance test procedures
Knowledgeable with Quality and Mission Assurance process and requirements; prior experience with evidence review and requirements sell-off process
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a lab environment with test equipment
Experience with quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability procedures and processes
