About Team:
Marketplace Engineering team is at the forefront of building core platforms and services to enable Walmart to deliver vast selection at competitive prices and with best in class post-order experience by enabling third-party sellers to list, sell and manage their products to our customers on walmart.com. We do this by managing the entire seller lifecycle, monitoring customer experience, and delivering high-value insights to our sellers to help them plan their assortment, price, inventory. The team also actively collaborates with partner platform teams to ensure we continue to deliver the best experience to our sellers and our customers.
What you will do
Manage a high performing team and own the accountability of complete E2E delivery
Drive design, development, implementation and documentation
Should be good in stakeholder and program management
Establish best engineering practices and operation excellence backed up with product, engineering and scrum metrics
Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.
Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.
Drive the success of the implementation by applying technical skills, to design and build enhanced processes and technical solutions in support of strategic initiatives.
Work closely with the Architects and cross functional teams and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions within the established architectural guidelines.
Work with senior leadership to chart out the future roadmap of the products
Participate in hiring and build teams enabling them to be high performing agile teams.
Interact closely for requirements with Business owners and technical teams both within India and across the globe.

What you will bring
An Engineering Degree - B.E/B.Tech/MS in any stream Computer Science preferred.
12+ years of relevant experience in building highly resilient, highly scalable enterprise products.
3+ years of leadership/management experience with a team of 10+ engineers.
Have strong experience in building and managing a high performing team
Should be good in stakeholder and program management
Extensive experience building services using these technologies (Java, Springboot, Microservices )
Good knowledge in web technologies like NextJS, React JS, Java script, Type script, CSS
Demonstrated end-to-end ownership for development and design of least one cloud-based project - Experience in building extensible platforms, data pipelines is desirable.
Should have good background of different processes required for maintain quality, best engineering practices, CICD etc.
Excellent in Engineering excellence code quality, performance tuning, operational excellence etc.
Well versed in understanding and handling Non-Functional requirements (NFRs)
Strong experience in running the cloud distributed system in production at least for 2-3 years
Knowledge on unit testing frameworks (Junit, Jest etc) and code quality control platforms like Sonar
Experience in CI/CD development environments/tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, DevOps
Strong hands on development skills to prototype technical solutions.
Strong desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly. Willing to learn new and emerging technologies.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - including negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills; ability to influence and persuade, without direct control.
