We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic professional to fill the Solutions Architect - Client Infrastructure Support & Enterprise Architect. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure the successful design, setup, and support of client infrastructure, as well as the strategic oversight of enterprise-level projects. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for leading infrastructure initiatives to support client programs, with a focus on Red Hat OpenShift, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Fortna WES/WCS. In your Enterprise Architect capacity, you will guide enterprise projects, including Infor, Salesforce, and integration solutions, ensuring they align with business goals and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Solutions Architect - Client Infrastructure Support

1. Infrastructure Setup and Management:

- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of client infrastructure, including Red Hat OpenShift clusters, Oracle, PostgreSQL databases, and Fortna WES/WCS environments.

- Ensure infrastructure components are optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability to meet client requirements.

- Implement security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC), data encryption, and network segmentation.

2. Hands-on Technical Work:

- Perform hands-on setup and administration of Red Hat OpenShift, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and related infrastructure.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with server hardware, storage, networking, and software to minimize downtime.

- Configure and maintain network settings, including firewalls, VLANs, load balancers, and VPNs, to ensure secure and efficient infrastructure operation.

3. Client Collaboration and Support:

- Work closely with clients to understand their infrastructure needs, technical challenges, and business objectives.

- Act as a trusted advisor, providing recommendations to optimize client environments and address infrastructure gaps.

- Lead technical meetings, workshops, and training sessions with clients and internal teams.

4. Leadership and Project Coordination:

- Guide technical teams to ensure client infrastructure projects are executed according to plan, on time, and within budget.

- Oversee the planning and execution of migration activities, upgrades, and maintenance tasks.

- Drive root cause analysis for incidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Enterprise Architect - Support Enterprise Projects

1. Strategic Project Leadership:

- Lead and support enterprise-level projects, including support of Infor, Salesforce, and complex system integrations.

- Define project requirements, design architecture solutions, and create detailed plans for integrating enterprise systems with existing infrastructure.

- Ensure all solutions align with organizational goals, scalability needs, and technical standards.

2. Hands-on and Technical Oversight:

- Provide hands-on support for enterprise projects, including technical configuration and troubleshooting during deployments.

- Guide integration efforts, ensuring seamless communication between various enterprise systems, including Infor, Salesforce, and custom applications.

- Work closely with development and technical teams to ensure enterprise architecture aligns with best practices and client requirements.

3. Governance and Compliance:

- Establish and enforce enterprise standards, policies, and best practices across all projects.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards during project execution.

- Regularly review and optimize architectural standards to support evolving business needs.

- Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends related to cloud infrastructure, containerization, databases, and enterprise architecture.

- Propose innovative solutions to improve existing infrastructure, optimize costs, and increase resilience.

- Drive the adoption of DevOps practices, automation, and infrastructure as code across all projects.

Required Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, enterprise architecture, or a related role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.

- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and enterprise systems like Infor or Salesforce.

- Strong expertise in infrastructure setup, administration, and troubleshooting, including networking, storage, and server configurations.

- Hands-on experience with integration tools, middleware, and APIs for enterprise systems.

- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and client engagement skills.

- Certifications such as Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), AWS Solution Architect, TOGAF, or equivalent are preferred.

The base salary range for this role is $153,300 to $227,700.  This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
