Maintenance Engineer

At Caterpillar, you will do work that matters. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement across our production environment. In this specialist position, your expertise and leadership will directly contribute to our business performance and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Preventive Maintenance Excellence
Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance activities in close collaboration with production and external partners. Ensure consistency, compliance, and accurate documentation of all activities.

Maximize Equipment Performance
Improve machine availability by diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues. Lead and deliver improvement initiatives that enhance reliability and efficiency.

Ensure Facility Reliability
Oversee building systems, including mechanical infrastructure and electrical networks. Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades with internal teams and external service providers.

Lead Daily Operations
Provide direction and support to maintenance and toolroom teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and seamless day-to-day operations.

Leverage Data for Performance Improvement
Monitor and analyze key maintenance KPIs (e.g. downtime, uptime, OEE) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Solve Problems at the Root Cause
Apply structured methodologies such as Pareto and root cause analysis to eliminate recurring issues and implement sustainable solutions.

Strengthen TPM Culture
Support and develop our Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) system through audits, training, and proactive maintenance strategies.

What You Bring

• Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Proven experience in maintenance coordination within a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience in leading, coaching, or developing technical teams
• Confident use of maintenance management and/or ERP systems

Base Minimum Pay:

Ft10,886,862.00
