Position Summary

As the Retail Pharmacy Operations Process Innovation, Senior Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to work across the CVS Health Enterprise to transform the patient and colleague experience.  You will lead a team focused on retail pharmacy workflow improvement and process innovation as well as oversee the discovery, valuation, training, pilot, deployment, and change management for enhancements to the retail pharmacy workflow, ultimately improving the overall retail pharmacy experience.

 

You will oversee the development of a strategic roadmap that will ultimately improve the process of managing inventory in-stores, including enhancing our IT systems as well as improving processes and execution across the chain. You will lead a Sr. Analyst colleague and develop talent within the Pharmacy Operations team to promote engaged, high-performing individuals. Additionally, you will be responsible for contributing to routine working teams, Steer Cos, and initiatives that cross business units to find synergies in how we work and reduce friction for our patients and store teams.

 

Key responsibilities will include field and store execution support for significant workflow challenges tied to key company initiatives and regular collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence in rolling out new programs requiring support across multiple stakeholders.


 Additional responsibilities will include:

· Strategic Planning-create strategies that continuously improve our programs and/or processes that drive service and productivity improvement Strategizes, and ultimately owns, the coordination, best practices and execution of store workflow /Rxconnect initiatives and day to day store operations processes, levering cross-functional partners for support
Champions innovation by bringing ideas to the team and leadership in an agile way, while balancing growth against financial risk and incremental cost to the organization

· Evolution and Maintenance of Retail Store Operations Processes/Procedures--Develop, execute, and maintain short and long-term initiatives to improve day to day retail store operations processes, both IT and non-IT, embedding our strategy as an integrated part of how we work.

· Lead IT and non-IT projects on strategic roadmap from initial vision to implementation and monitoring  

· Leverages data, insights, and analytics to influence stakeholders and makes recommendations as appropriate 

· Measures retention and key performance indicator results on an ongoing basis and provides recurring readout to senior leadership in partnership with cross functional business leads and Leverages a results-oriented mindset, using metrics to monitor improvements

· Develops and manages a standardized set of views that are used to internally monitor macro-level trends and key drivers of each

 



Required Qualifications


Minimum of 8 years of experience leading and implementing strategic initiatives and developing strategies to mobilize the business to achieve goals and outcomes using innovative solutions

Previous experience leveraging data to support strategic plans and ROI, developing measures and metrics that yield actionable insights. Leading and conducting first-level analyses to identify underlying drivers of new trends

Proven ability to build relationships and influence all levels of the organization, up to and including Retail SVPs, without authority

 

Proven track record aligning stakeholders to a common goal and hold teams accountable for delivering results
 

Previous experience framing complex problems and developing solutions that address multiple interests with minimal guidance or direction and identifying risk and mitigation strategies to ensure success
 

Previous experience translating vision and strategy into actionable timelines and produce successful outcomes

 

Expertise leveraging MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and Powerpoint capabilities

 

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of RxConnect and CFRx systems 
 

Experience leading and executing Pharmacy workflow improvements projects (IT and non-IT)
 

Familiarity with IT implementation processes and extensive knowledge of retail business operations and workflow, including pharmacy
 

Master’s degree


Education

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.40


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
