The role in a nutshell:

This role is a key position within the organization and responsible for Producing the overheads analysis and balance reconciliation of the main trading entities. You will be a technically strong accountant who is able to work within a team to produce timely and accurate accounts.

How you will make a difference:

  • Assist with overheads and balance sheet reconciliations process.
  • Help drive best practice across the whole accounting function, working with the Director of Accounting to implement and drive controls and process improvements.
  • Produce detailed spend analysis to provide Insightful information to leaders within the business.
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations on a monthly basis ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Work with the Purchase ledger team to ensure data is correct at source.
  • Reconcile the balance sheet to agreed deadlines and provide analysis on movements and trends.
  • Working with the Director of Accounting to produce a monthly Balance sheet pack for the Chief Accounting Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
  • Enhance existing month end reporting process and implement improvement where possible.
