Figma is growing our team of passionate people on a mission to make design accessible to all. Born on the Web, Figma helps entire product teams brainstorm, design and build better products — from start to finish. Whether it’s consolidating tools, simplifying workflows, or collaborating across teams and time zones, Figma makes the design process faster, more efficient, and fun while keeping everyone on the same page. From great products to long-lasting companies, we believe that nothing great is made alone—come make with us!

As a Field Marketing Manager passionate about events, you'll be responsible for the strategy and execution for third-party conferences and partner events. This  opportunity will allow you to lead high-impact initiatives that drive revenue, pipeline, and brand awareness. You’ll work with cross-functional departments such as Sales, Partnerships, Product, and our Executive Team to ensure event experiences align with business goals, provide value to attendees, and deliver measurable results. Your work will encompass everything from large-scale conferences to co-branded partner events, virtual experiences, and tailored activations that showcase Figma’s culture and product offerings.

This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you’ll do at Figma:

  • Own third-party sponsorships and co-branded partner events, negotiating key partnerships and driving strategic value for Figma.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Growth Marketing, Product, and Partnerships to ensure alignment and drive impact through every event.
  • Lead event logistics end-to-end, including budgeting, vendor management, speaker programming, invitations, swag, and post-event outreach, and detailed execution.
  • Develop event metrics and analyze performance, supervising return on investment, pipeline contribution, and attendee engagement to continually optimize event strategies.
  • Innovate on event formats and experiences that show Figma’s brand, providing creative and engaging touchpoints for our audiences.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal and external team members, including customers, partners, and thought leaders, to elevate Figma’s presence at key events.
  • Maintain a data-driven approach to events, ensuring every experience is optimized for measurable business outcomes.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 8+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or conference production, with a track record of leading small and large-scale events.
  • Managed large-scale conferences and in-person or virtual events from conception to execution, including budgeting, logistics, and vendor relationships.
  • Strong experience with cross-functional teamwork, especially with Sales, Product, and Executive teams, to align events with business priorities.
  • Proficiency in applying data analysis to inform decision-making, monitoring event success, and optimizing strategies based on important measurements like return on investment and lead generation.
  • Proven communication and relationship-building skills, with ability to collaborate with stakeholders, and negotiate with vendors and partners.
  • Creative event design skills that translate brand and vision into engaging event experiences.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to evolving business needs.

While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Familiarity with event management tools, registration platforms, CRM systems, and other event technology to streamline processes and improve attendee experiences.
  • Experience in hybrid event formats, blending virtual and in-person experiences for large audiences.
  • Experience crafting events that reflect Figma’s dedication to inclusivity and diversity, ensuring a welcoming environment for all attendees.
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
