The role

euNetworks is a leading provider of bandwidth infrastructure services in Europe. As euNetworks continues its aggressive expansion in Germany, we are looking for a seasoned Regional Manager to lead the fibre infrastructure for our western German operations. You will be instrumental in driving the success of this crucial region by overseeing the growth, stability, and performance of our fibre network. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to expand our network reach and capacity, ensuring we can continue to meet the growing needs of our customers.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Manage and maintain the fibre infrastructure for our long haul and metro networks in western Germany.
  • Support strategic planning for further network growth in your region.
  • Identify and plan network improvements to enhance stability and performance.
  • Negotiate and apply for approvals and wayleaves.
  • Lead and oversee civil and cable construction works, splice teams, and support the build of new ILA sites.
  • Oversee euNetworks' long haul network operations in western Germany, including supporting fibre-related activities around cables and ILA sites during network builds.
  • Monitor, report, and communicate the implementation of point-to-point fibre related projects.
  • Ensure project teams adhere to project plans, including deadlines for milestones and delivery dates.
  • Oversee project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and complete within our systems.
  • Monitor network capacity and proactively plan and initiate overbuild projects to prevent capacity constraints.

  • Proven experience in fibre optic infrastructure management.
  • Strong understanding of network planning principles and methodologies.
  • Project management experience with a focus on budget and schedule adherence.
  • Empathy and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and documentation tools. (Salesforce, MS Office, Connect Master).
  • Excellent German and English communication skills to thrive in an international environment.
  • Driver license “B” (Germany) or equivalent.
