Job Description:

Mission:

To ensure compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) regulations within the Human Resources department, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the financial information related to the staff.

Main functions:

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of HR internal controls in relation to SOX.
  • Identify and assess operational and compliance risks within HR processes.
  • Design and execute remediation plans to resolve deficiencies in controls.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure that policies and procedures comply with SOX standards.
  • Prepare and maintain adequate documentation on controls and remediation activities.
  • Provide training and guidance on SOX and internal controls to HR staff.

Requirements

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in internal controls, audit or compliance, preferably in an HR and Systems environment.
  • Knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and its practical application.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Proactivity and ability to work independently.
  • High level of English to communicate effectively with international teams.
