Job Purpose

The transportation claims specialist role’s purpose is to oversee and manage the claims process within our organization, ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Claims Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of transportation claims, from initial filing to resolution.

  • Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations of claims to determine liability and assess damages.

  • Coordination: Act as a liaison between transportation providers, customers, claim adjusters, legal representatives, and internal teams.

  • Documentation: Ensure all claims are documented accurately and in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

  • Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with claimants and insurance companies to achieve fair and timely resolutions.

  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on claim activities, trends, and outcomes for management review.

  • Compliance: Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with established procedures, national and international laws, protocols, and agreements.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3-8 years in claims management, preferably in the transportation industry.

  • English Proficient

  • Additional European language among French, Spanish, German, Polish, Italian is required

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Good knowledge of claims management software and systems.

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
