CASE Management Consulting is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead complex DoW and Intelligence Community (IC) programs involving RF/communications systems, software development, and mission-focused system integration efforts. This role provides technical leadership across the systems engineering lifecycle while managing software engineering teams delivering secure, high-performance capabilities in support of national security objectives.

The selected candidate will engage senior military and civilian leadership, drive technical execution across the lifecycle, and deliver secure, high-impact capabilities in support of national security objectives.

 

Your Impactful Duties:

• Lead systems engineering activities across requirements development, design, integration, testing, and deployment for DoD/IC systems.
• Provide technical oversight of RF/communications systems development and integration efforts.
• Manage and lead software engineering teams supporting DoD or IC programs.
• Oversee system development lifecycle processes, ensuring technical rigor and mission alignment.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering activities to ensure integration across hardware, software, and communications systems.
• Support technical risk identification, mitigation planning, and execution.
• Provide clear, persuasive technical communication to both technical peers and non-technical leadership.
• Brief senior military and civilian leadership on program status, risks, and technical solutions.

 

Requirements:

• An active TS/SCI security clearance (with the ability to obtain a CI poly)
• Master’s degree and 10 years of experience
  (OR 8 additional years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 4 additional years of experience may substitute for Master’s)
• Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Computer Science, or related scientific/technical discipline
• 8+ years of progressively complex experience in systems engineering, RF/communications, development, integration, and testing for DoD or IC systems
• 7+ years in a software engineering role supporting DoD programs/projects
• 7+ years in a software engineering management role leading technical teams on DoD or IC programs/projects

 

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Army TENCAP
• Experience supporting Space ISR systems
• Experience with expeditionary ground station concepts
• Experience briefing senior military or civilian leadership
