Operational Planner/Buyer Support

Job Description

As Operational Planning/Buyer Support, you will be responsible for conducting routine material planning processes, placing and monitoring orders statuses, calculating order quantities and timings, and resolving basic complaints to maintain smooth operations, uphold supplier relations, and meet customer demands effectively.

Your role:

  • Works on basic material shortage risks, follows action to mitigate disruptions, performs return orders to suppliers, ensures smooth supply chain operations and maintains strong supplier relationships
  • Assists in addressing and resolving the fundamental reasons behind routine availability issues, ensuring smooth and continuous supply chain operations by identifying and eliminating root causes efficiently
  • Assists in calculating and planning basic technical aspects of purchasing goods, understanding their requirements, managing inventory including safety stock, and efficiently expediting and mitigating shortages with suppliers to uphold service levels

  • You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse
  • Your skills include extensive knowledge with SAP preferred
  • You have a high school diploma
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You’ve participated in communicating forecasts to suppliers promptly and record accurately to maintain efficient inventory management and smooth supply chain operations

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

The pay range for this position in Reedsville, PA is $21.00/hr to $32.00/hr.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
