Scope:

The Engineer will be responsible for developing and supporting software enhancements and customizations for the Blue Yonder WMSproduct suite. He/She will also be responsible for ensuring quality releases of the Software Package based on CI/CD Agile principles. The engineer will have to align with the Dev Lead/Scrum Lead on all Jira Tasks assigned within the estimates provided. This role requires strong technical expertise to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet customer and business requirements.

 Software: Core Java, PLSQL and Extjs

What you’ll do:

 Understand business objectives and develop mods based on the requirement.  Develop the Mods and Perform Custom Code Uplift based on Technical Design Documents provided by the Leads.

 Align Development and review tasks with Blue Yonder BY WMS Guidelines.

 Ensure all deliverables, including code and documentation, undergo peer reviews.

 Perform risk assessments, prepare quotes, and define high-level functional and technical approaches for new software changes based on alignment with Dev Lead.

 Investigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues, providing code fixes and unit testing in compliance with defined SLAs.

 Provide on-site or remote support for go-live activities, dry runs, testing, and other deployment related needs and work during customer time zones.

 Coordinate and deliver product or solution demonstrations to clients.

What we are looking for:

 Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant disciplines (MCA, MSc in Computer Science etc.)

 Total Experience – 3 yrs to 5 yrs

 Strong expertise in Java, ExtJS, PLSQL

 Prior experience with Blue Yonder / JDA / Red Prairie WMS or other WMS platforms is an added advantage.

 Experience in test management and test execution.

 Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

 Use of AI Tools-Cursor AI, Replit AI, GitHub, Copilot

 In-depth knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, and database tools (e.g., SQL Developer, SQL Management Studio).

 Strong experience with source code control systems such as GitHub, Jenkins…

 Proficiency in working with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems, including command line usage.

 Working knowledge of JIRA for issue and project tracking.

 Ability to evaluate competing solutions and make informed decisions to achieve optimal outcomes.

 Willingness to take ownership of end-to-end project delivery and provide technical guidance to assigned engineers.

 Confidence in making suggestions and recommendations for continuous improvement.

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships.

 Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and ensure seamless information flow.

 Proactively seeks assistance and feedback when appropriate to improve outcomes.
