Description -
HP, the global leader in digital printing, is looking for an experienced, professional, and ambitious leader for its Global Business Unit in the Marketing Development team.
The global segment manager is responsible for providing marketing leadership to increase customer usage of HP Indigo products. This key position will provide strategic thought leadership content to meet business objectives, and partner closely with other functions in the marketing, product and GTM teams to initiate and execute global business development activities. As a global segment manager, you will be responsible for the entire product life cycle in your segment. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing new products to market, create competitive narratives, sales tools and content to promote the product GTM; for existing products you will maintain market leadership and highlight competitive advantages.

Primary responsibilities:
Translate business objectives into the development of a yearly business plan, including strategies and tactics that increase HP’s awareness and relevancy, and generate demand.
Create content that promotes your segment’s leadership and address the market challenges and opportunities to generate demand (P&P, articles, white papers, sales kits, sales collaterals, videos, webinars, PPTs, etc.).
Collaborate with existing customers so they become HP Indigo’s ambassadors, and to understand current and emerging needs and translate them into compelling marketing messages and materials.
Define, manage and evolve differentiated competitive messaging and value propositions for your segment and the products included in the segment.
Collaborate with media channels to ensure integration of a multi-channel PR approach.
Work in close collaboration with internal groups and SMEs to develop the supporting marketing tools for a successful product penetration strategy.
Plan and oversee the execution of industry events worldwide. Work alongside the marketing team on events and tradeshows, with responsibility for the strategy, HP Indigo messaging, content and global overview.
Become the go-to person for HP Indigo external marketing and communications.
Work with industry analysts to relate your segment value proposition to key trends and highlight HP Indigo in industry content.
Develop and track business development budgets and projections while maximizing ROI.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in B2B marketing.
Experienced with marketing content writing (messages, success stories, marketing tools).
Demonstrated ability to work proactively and collaboratively with global, cross-functional teams.
Thought leadership – strategic thinking and ability to deliver messaging at a high level with supporting data.
Getting things done, successfully – excellent communication, organization, decision-making and problem-solving capabilities (willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done).
Can create leadership without authority.
Be fun to work with, talented, with an excellence mindset and a positive can-do attitude – no exceptions.
Ability to travel with varying intensity.
High-level English speaking and writing – mandatory.
