As a Sr. Associate, Accounts Receivable supporting our Finance, Accounting & Audit team, you will be trusted to manage complex credit and collections activities and strengthen Alcon’s financial performance. You will apply advanced analytical skills, collaborate across functions, and help ensure the financial health of our customer portfolio.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Collaborating with Commercial, Operations, and Customer teams to solve payment challenges and maintain a positive customer experience
• Managing a senior portfolio of high‑profile, high‑value accounts, ensuring timely cash collection and risk mitigation
• Leading credit research, dispute resolution, and account analysis to reduce overdue balances and bad debt exposure
• Acting as a system Subject Matter Expert, supporting AR processes and contributing to global initiatives
• Supporting month‑end close, reporting, and compliance activities to ensure accuracy and adherence to AR policies

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience: 4–6 years in Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, or related finance roles; experience managing complex customer portfolios preferred
• Technical Skills: – Strong understanding of AR processes, credit risk, and cash collection strategies – Proficiency with ERP systems and AR tools; ability to serve as a system super user – Advanced analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
• Behaviors: – Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive – Strong communicator who builds trust with internal and external partners – Resilient, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement
