🎯 Role Overview

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of our clients’ software products. Depending on your experience level (junior, medior, senior), you will take on responsibilities ranging from hands‑on test creation to architectural decisions, mentoring, and client-facing technical guidance.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test cases for backend, frontend, or API-based systems

• Collaborate with distributed teams across multiple time zones

• Participate in requirement analysis to ensure testability and clarity

• Maintain and improve automation frameworks using modern tools and programming languages

• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle

• Provide technical insights to clients and support a consultant-style approach

• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines

🛠 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong English communication skills (spoken and written); German is a plus

• Advanced knowledge of at least one test automation tool (e.g., SoapUI, Postman, or similar)

• Programming experience in one or more languages: Python, Java, C#, or TypeScript with using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright libraries

• Hands-on experience with any automation framework (UI, API, performance, or custom-built)

• Understanding of software testing principles and QA best practices

• Basic knowledge of DevOps activities, networking, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus

• SQL knowledge is welcome on a basic level

• ISTQB certification is a plus; additional ISTQB certifications are highly valued

• Ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural environment
