The Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join our GenStudio team based in Bucharest.

We are looking for an exceptional technology leader to build, nurture and grow a highly motivated agile team working on the best in class solution for digital marketing multi-channel content management systems driving a billion-dollar revenue

Your team will be responsible for developing the front-end user experiences while ensuring the back-end services are built for performance and reliability. You will partner with teams across the Marketing Cloud/ Adobe Experience Cloud and deploy these technologies across Web and Desktop.

Adobe GenStudio is a generative AI-first product that lets marketing teams quickly plan, build, manage, activate and measure on-brand content. It allows any team member to quickly find and generate assets, create variations, and optimize experiences based on real-time content performance insights.

What you'll Do

  • Hire and directly lead world class engineers while being responsible for driving all aspects of implementation, quality assurance, continuous integration and deployment, and application monitoring

  • Responsible to build and maintain fault tolerant and highly available (99.99%) web applications and the services

  • Build and instill a team culture that focuses on engineering excellence, encourages deep engagement with our customers and out of the box thinking

  • Mentor technical leaders and high bars for excellence in architecture and code design

  • Participate in the design and review of features, technology choices, architecture, designs, time and budget estimates, and test strategies

  • Handle project scope and risks with data, analytics and creative problem solving

  • Develop and evolve engineering processes and collaboration models to optimize team efficiency and teamwork

  • Work closely with teams and managers across Adobe, in different geographies

What you need to succeed

  • B.S or M.S. degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or equivalent

  • 5+ years of software development experience

  • 2+ years of people management experience

  • Proven people management skills in leading teams of 3 or more and projects of 6 dev/months or more

  • Experience with SaaS products

  • Web development know-how

  • Ability to quickly prioritize and an acute sense of urgency

  • Ability to understand business context and requirements, strong customer focus

  • Passion for software development and knowledge about software development methodologies

  • Able to motivate, inspire, and grow team members

  • Strong ambition and self-drive

  • Top-notch communication skills, able to be credible and convincing in a simple phone conversation in English, able to deliver short but high-impact presentations and pitches

  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
