JOB DESCRIPTION:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement and monitor account receivable procedures, goals and standards in relation to the industry standard and regulations.

  • Responsible for communicating reimbursement requirements with point of entry staff and clinical service program directors. 

  • Responsible for loading grant requirements into Workday.

  • Responsible for state and federal reporting for all awarded and active grants & contracts.

  • Work with Directors to identify and resolve budget & compliance issues to ensure accurate and timely spend-down of the grants, validate matching payroll and other expenses for the grants and ensure accurate reporting/invoicing as requested by the federal and state agencies and other grantors.

  • Provide guidance for internal & external grant audits and reviews.

  • Monitors staff ability to generate timely billings, posting of monthly charges and payments within the allotted time period.  

  • Analyzes outstanding balances and reports to leadership, emphasizing problem areas. 

  • Process end of month functions within the requested time frame and coordinates with accounting staff.

  • Gather & analyze data and situations and make appropriate decisions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level              

Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or accounting required. Experience may be considered as a substitute for degree requirement.

Years of Experience       

4-6 years of experience. Experience in health care setting, social service agency, or other related field preferred.

$74,400.00--$111,600.00
