Job Description

About the Role

As District Visual Lead you will support the visual merchandising strategy through district level execution of visual and merchandise presentation, while effectively and efficiently executing operational processes. You will drive sales by creating moments through visual storytelling and merchandising execution that support an enhanced customer experience. 

What You’ll Do

  • Implement all aspects of visual presentation consistently according to corporate standards and resources in partnership with district and store leadership 

  • Support flow and adjacency solutions for your store and the district according to corporate guidelines

  • Lead in-store visual, merchandising and marketing communication within the district; maintain a deep understanding of guidelines and proactively share with district and store teams

  • Solve merchandising opportunities, adjusting sets accordingly to elevate and maintain inspiring presentations in all areas of the store

  • Demonstrate, coach and develop a customer service mindset, including customer service philosophies, anticipating customer needs and satisfactorily resolving issues

  • Oversee and maintain daily standards and proper care of all visual and merchandising components in a neat, clean and organized work and storage area

  • Ensure installation, timing, removal or disposal of visual and merchandising initiatives and capital projects in partnership with store leadership of all graphic collateral as directed

  • Attend and lead visual and merchandising calls; act as a liaison between stores and corporate visual and merchandising teams

  • Conduct weekly store walks with the Store Manager and/ or District Manager focused on visual and merchandising priorities 

  • Lead with integrity, honesty and foster teamwork in an engaged and inclusive culture

  • Prevent loss by educating associates, monitoring daily store activity, maintaining product protection standards, ensuring company policies are followed and partnering with Loss Prevention

  • Acknowledge and assist customers in all areas of the store to deliver a friendly and easy experience

  • Participate in onboarding and training of visual talent in stores and mentoring visual merchandising leads

  • Take appropriate partners to escalate store visual and merchandising opportunities 

  • Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to make informed business decisions that drive overall district and store results

  • Accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

  • Train, monitor and reinforce company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines

  • Maintain adherence to company safety policies for the safety of all associates and customers

  • Other responsibilities as assigned


What Skills You Have

Required

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older

  • Limited travel to support other locations when assigned

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred

  • 2 years of retail or service industry experience

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally over 50 lbs. with a two person lift.

  • Ability to climb a ladder, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push and pull on a frequent basis.

  • Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift (at least 8 hours).

  • Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.

  • Ability to comply with health and safety standards.

Pay Starts At: $19.50
