Job purpose

This position is responsible to support parts demand, tracking and releasing for packing for any Control Retrofit materials. Parts demand comes from Engineering- windchill system.  PRU SOA is responsible to place demand against different departments as such as Mabank production planners and Supply Chain for external suppliers.  Parts demand are placed to support projects need date and meeting customer project installation dates.

Job Description

The PRU Project Support Sales Order Administrator (SOA) is responsible to process a Windchill Bill of Material into a service order so the planners and buyers procure the required project hardware in support of the customer shipment date. Sales Order Administrator tracks project parts availability and develops recovery plans for parts not supporting build, test or shipping dates. In addition to this, provides parts update to Project Managers, making sure there a plan to ship the project with parts complete or with shortages. Also, SOA works with Global Trade Compliance to assign tariff codes and classification of parts.

SOA is responsible to upload pricing into BAAN to support project commercials invoices for international projects shipment and provides complete and accurate packing and crating definition to Shipping-Logistic teams.

SOA works closely with Factory Precommissioning (FPC) team to support parts and systems that will be used during test. SOA has a responsibility to work with Packing team to coordinate the materials release for packing to meet project Readiness to Ship. Keeps closer communication with Traffic team to collect drop ship materials to be delivered either to a packer or customer site.

Jobs skills

1) Strong knowledge in BAAN 5C and  LN, or any different ERP system available in  the market.

2) Trade terms familiarity. Basic knowledge/experience on warehouse operations.

3) Familiarity of Trade Automation.

4) Basic Windchill knowledge.

4) Multitask to keep several projects in execution (planning, tracking and releasing for packing).

5) Strong communication skills 1 to 4 years in planning, purchasing or any equivalent experience in working with PSU Projects (packing by systems, Windchill BOM, containers, etc).

6) Must be sufficiently familiar with Solar’s organization or with equivalent planning/logistic/warehouse operations experience, possess good interpersonal skills, and be detail oriented.

7) Planning and/or a buying experience is a plus.
