Job Description:

• Responsible for architecting, designing, developing and maintaining software solutions for new and existing

Allegion products.

• Work closely with product management to understand requirements and translate them to elegant

implementation.

• Active member of a highly skilled and motivated agile development team

• Collaborate with global teams for product development

• Design and implement elegant, high quality mobile applications with perfect customer experience

• Peer reviews for code and design

• Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the quality and process

• May provide day-to-day direction and oversight for other employees

• Provide design/architectural solutions for new developments

• Serve as a subject matter expert in the project

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience building thick client applications in iOS

• Expert level experience with Objective C, Swift

• Should have published apps in iOS App Store

• Experience in Scrum

• Experience in developing apps that consume web services.

• Experience in rapid prototyping.

• Thorough understanding of the Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.

• Experience with performance and memory tuning using tools.

• Solid understanding of software design and patterns

• Passion for building high quality software with extensive experience in unit testing and test-driven

development.

• Proficient understanding of versioning tools (GIT or SVN) and familiarity with continuous integration.

• Solid understanding of techniques to achieve high quality user experience.

• Effective written, verbal and presentations skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts.

• Self-directed and able to direct others.

Desired Skills & Abilities

• Android or any cross-platform development experience

• UX design experience

• Knowledge of low-level C based libraries is preferred.

Required Education and/or Experience:

• BE or M Tech in Computer Science Engineering

• 5 to 9 Years of experience in Software Application Development
