Practice Manager - Pediatrics Multispecialty - Queens Medical Group

As a Practice Manager, you will lead, motivate, and develop staff to drive high performance. You will oversee daily operations, ensure your areas consistently achieve quality, productivity, and financial targets, and set strategic short‑ and long‑term goals to advance the Pediatrics Multispecialty practice.

  • Manage practice operations budget, registration, scheduling, visit closing, billing/collection and clinical information processes and systems are functioning effectively and on a timely basis.

  • Ensure effective operations in accordance with established NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group (NYPMG) procedures.

  • Determines work schedules, including holiday and vacation time.

  • Cultivates teamwork with high level of communication amongst staff.

  • Work closely with Directors to implement workflows to improve patient access and patient satisfaction.

  • Coordinate activities, tools, etc. with other office and hospital departments/practices and service groups, as necessary.

  • Maintain practice standards and adhere to quality goals and other performance criteria including budget to actual volumes.

  • Preserve a safe environment including office procedures to sustain a high level of patient and staff safety.

  • Performs all duties inherent to managerial role. Participates in hiring, training, evaluation and termination of assigned staff according to NYPMG policies and procedures.

  • Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

This is a full-time day shift position (9am - 5pm), Monday - Friday. This practice is located at 198-15 Horace Harding Expressway, Fresh Meadows, NY 11365.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Experienced Practice Manager within a Multispecialty setting.

  • Master's degree in healthcare or business administration.

  • 2+ years’ practice management experience.

Required Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practice management experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

  • Knowledge of EHR and practice management billing/scheduling systems.

  • Knowledge of medical information and practice compliance and regulatory standards.

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and people management skills.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

$89,000-$111,500/Annual
