Position Summary
As the Production Design Lead at Yahoo, you will be instrumental in defining the visual identity and executing integrated marketing campaigns and large-scale events. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team of creatives and marketers to bring strategic concepts to life, ensuring consistency and design excellence across all touchpoints. Your role will be critical in maintaining brand uniformity and significantly impacting Yahoo’s marketing success. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in both digital and event design, a keen understanding of design principles, and exceptional attention to detail and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and execution of visual assets across various media for digital marketing campaigns and events, including large-scale signage, environmental graphics, digital ads, and social media content, with a focus on meticulous detail and precision.

  • Translate key art and concepts across diverse deliverables, adapting designs to fit new specifications while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and maintaining high quality and consistency.

  • Review and refine design work based on feedback, ensuring deliverables meet project requirements and deadlines.

  • Create accurate, production-ready files in multiple sizes, formats, and specifications.

  • Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, designers and producers for cohesive creative output.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high quality and adherence to project specifications.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance design practices and deliver innovative solutions.

  • Develop and implement efficient production workflows to optimize team productivity and output.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in production design.

  • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and Google Suite.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in design and production across various media.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Deep understanding of design principles—layout, color, and typography.

  • Expertise in digital and print production techniques and terminology.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with effective collaboration capabilities.

  • Experience in developing and implementing design processes and workflows is a plus.

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,625.00 - $230,625.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
