JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position: Assistant Manager Engineering
Reporting to: Senior Manager Engineering
Division: Established Pharmaceutical Division - Operation
Location: Karachi -Landhi Plant
Job Summary:
To assist Senior Manager Engineering through managing the functions of Production Equipment’s. Ensure the establishment and implementation of all maintenance goals and responsible for production maintenance operations.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist to Ensure smooth operations of Pharma machines/ equipment in designated Manufacturing / finishing area
- Compliance of MEP ( Maintenance Excellence Plan) and HPR ( Highly Protected Readiness)
- Responsible for troubleshooting / running maintenance of Pharma machines/ equipment in designated Manufacturing/ Finishing area
- Prepare and implement Schedule Maintenance program of pharma equipment of designated area on monthly basis
- Assist in installation and startup of the new machines / equipment
- Assist in launching of new product’s requirement
- Assist to maintain related machine spares of machines / equipment either by import or local fabrication
- Assist in controlling of sectional expenses
- Ensure of that the staff follows good housekeeping practices and keep the maintenance shop and equipment in tidy condition
- Coordinate in validation activities of new equipment as required
- Ensure workmanship will be carried out with all safety and cGMP standards and conduct floor training on regular basis
- Ensure that all maintenance operations are under controlled environment, meeting all Global EHS standards & housekeeping standards
- Ensure compliance of Abbott code of business conduct, Engineering Standards & Specifications. Maintain safe workplace
- Responsible to ensure compliance of SOP and standard related to data protection and Cyber Security of Pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment
- Responsible for preventing and safeguarding manufacturing equipment computer systems and data for unauthorized access and breaches
- Any other related responsibility assigned by Maintenance Manager Engineering
Education/Knowledge & Experience:
- BE in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic
- 3-4 years’ experience in the same capacity
- Knowledge of Operations, Maintenance, and Installation of Production Equipment and their Trouble shooting
- Knowledge of Budgeting, costing, BOQ’s preparation, administration tool
- Proficient in MS Office
- Teamwork and problem-solving skills
