As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and providing technical support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving software issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the improvement of system performance and stability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues reported by end-users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve issues within critical business systems.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with established processes and procedures.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving software issues.
- Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies.
- Knowledge of server and network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Recommendation: Familiarity with ITIL framework.
- Recommendation: Knowledge of database management systems.
- Recommendation: Understanding of IT security principles.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full-time education is required.
Candidates should be able to provide Frontline technical assistance and support related to Windows Server and VMware infrastructure issue’s, primary goal is to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of Windows Server and VMware environments, addressing user queries, troubleshooting problems, and escalating issues as necessary to higher-level support teams.
• Candidates should have Strong understanding of Windows Server operating systems(Windows server 2016,2019 & 2022) along with Active Directory services DNS DHCP concepts.
• Proficiency in VMware virtualization technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi versions.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Working experience with server hardware and knowledge of Storage & Backup solutions.
• Candidate should have experience of serve builds, health checks & regular maintenance activities.
• Required good problem-solving skills and ability to handle any situation.
• Candidate should work with vendors when demand.
• Candidate should have work experience of incident, change mgmt and problem mgmt tasks.
• Identify the repeated tasks and provide the input to automation.
• Prepare regular KT plan for juniors to improve their quality of work
• Identify the Server monitoring gaps and minimize the incidents proactively.
• Ability to participate in Major incident activities
