Based in our Wynwood Miami, Florida location the Hybrid Assistant Studio Manager + Piercer will report to the Studio Manager. In this role, you will divide your time between execution Studio operations and delivering piercing services. You will be the ultimate ambassador of the brand by building and driving every aspect of the client’s experience in our Studio. Prior to stepping into this role, you will participate in portions of our paid piercing training program, which includes classroom style learning, observation, and hands-on training.
Hourly Rate: $31.25/hour
REVENUE
Financial Acumen
- Analyzes business reporting to identify opportunities in key business metrics and communicates them effectively with the Studio team
- Maintains an active sales floor presence in service to the clients and team and actions against Studio’s reviews and customer satisfaction surveys
- Partners with the Studio Manager to execute sales strategies and align the Studio team to continually improve key business metrics to achieve sales plan
Service Oriented
- Serves as a brand ambassador: welcomes and educates clients to the unique Studs’ piercing and shopping experience through our selling cycle
- Implements ands trains to service recovery best practices and escalates client feedback to improve the overall Studio experience
OPERATIONS
Optimizes Work Processes
- Assumes all Studio Manager responsibilities in their absence by balancing analysis, experience, and integrity when making decisions for the overall business
- Oversees operations for the Studio including inventory management (transfers, adjustments, and cycle counts), cash management, and supply ordering
- Monitors, tracks, and communicates operational trends to the Studio Manager and collaborates on solutions
Decision Quality & Execution
- Strategically supports piercing coverage by delivering a smooth piercing procedure with the ability to expertly troubleshoot in the procedure
- Be well versed in piercing operating procedures and regulations to ensure client experience and work safety standards are met
- Shows consistent and detailed record keeping including all maintenance, sterilized inventory and tools
- Aids in directive execution to successfully meet deadlines
TALENT
Builds and Develops Effective Teams
- Provides prompt coaching and feedback with clear actionables and collaborates with the Studio Manager on new training initiatives needed to grow the team

- Prioritizes Studio compliance and ensures the team is accountable to company policies and standard operating procedures

Requirements:
- 1 year of comparable Retail Management experience; experience with jewelry, piercing, or hospitality is a plus
- Over 1 year of piercing experience
- 30-40 hours per week inclusive of weekdays and weekends
- Comfortable standing for extended periods of time up to 8+ hours
- Able to lift, carry, and move at least 20 lbs
- Must be able to handle chemicals safely
- Must be able to visually inspect ear anatomy to execute advanced piercings
- Must be able to deliver piercings with a steady hand
- Ability to be scrappy, organized, and navigate dynamic change by leveraging tools and resources creatively
- Driven, creative problem solver that consistently acts with integrity and speaks up
- Owner’s mindset, with the ability to approach feedback and problems with a positive attitude.
