We are seeking a licensed behavioral health clinician to join our Pediatric Gastroenterology (PEDS GI) outpatient team. The clinician will play a critical role in addressing the psychological and behavioral aspects of gastrointestinal conditions, providing therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments to identify psychological factors impacting GI symptoms, implementing evidence-based treatments to provide support to patients with GI conditions, and offering family support and psychoeducation to help manage challenges, treatment adherence, and the connection between emotions and GI health. The clinician will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop holistic care plans and address adjustment difficulties related to medical treatments. Additionally, the clinician will provide emotional support for children coping with chronic GI conditions, assist with identifying and connecting to all needed supports. Strong documentation skills are required to maintain accurate progress notes and treatment plans that meet medical, behavioral, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents with chronic medical conditions, expertise in trauma-informed care, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in an academic healthcare system setting
