Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Must have skills :- • Overall 8 years of experience with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience • Oracle Weblogic Administration L3 • OHS Administration L3 Good to have skills :- • Apache Administration • IBM Websphere MQ Administration L3 • IIS Administration Technical Requirements :- • Strong experience in Oracle WebLogic Server installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting. • Expertise in WebLogic clustering, load balancing, and failover configurations. • Experience with WebLogic security configurations (SSL, LDAP, SSO, etc.) • Familiarity with WebLogic tools like WLST (WebLogic Scripting Tool), WLDF (WebLogic Diagnostic Framework), and Oracle Enterprise Manager. • Knowledge of Java, J2EE, and Java EE applications in WebLogic environments. • Experience in managing WebLogic on Linux/Unix environments. • Analyze and optimize WebLogic server performance through various tools (JVM tuning, heap management, thread management, garbage collection, etc.) • Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements. • Configure and manage WebLogic security policies, roles, and permissions. • Implement and manage SSL certificates, encryption, and other security protocols. • Ensure compliance with security best practices and organizational policies. • Investigate and resolve complex WebLogic-related incidents and application issues. • Work with development teams to troubleshoot issues related to WebLogic, application deployments, and server configurations. • Utilize WebLogic logs (server, domain, and application logs) and diagnostic tools to identify root causes of issues. • Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy Java-based applications (EAR, WAR) on WebLogic servers. • Assist in migrating applications to newer WebLogic versions or between different environments. • Design and implement backup and recovery strategies for WebLogic domains, configurations, and application data. • Write and maintain scripts (Bash, Python, WLST) to automate common administrative tasks such as deployments, monitoring, and configuration management. • Assist with the automation of WebLogic management using Oracle Enterprise Manager, Ansible, or other configuration management tools. • Familiarity with deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Key Responsibilities :- • Drives automation initiatives for Middleware Installation, configuration and Administration. • Develops business cases to justify strategic investment in systems architecture, including analysis of future growth and cost reduction opportunities. • Provides technical engineering and design review for new Middleware platforms, applications, infrastructure. • Identifies and reports Key Performance Indicators, focusing on capacity planning and performance analysis. • Provision, maintain and provide Middleware support in a heterogeneous platform environment. • Manage environment for Middleware servers, security compliance, monitoring, performance tuning analysis. • Provide support for troubleshooting and problem resolution related to Middleware technologies. • Document administration processes/procedures to ensure optimal levels of support. • Research, analyze, and recommend changes required for system growth by utilizing industry standard monitoring and research tools. • Implements policies, procedures, and technologies and follows established security standards. • Cross-functional collaboration to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of servers to meet business demands .
