Your Role and Responsibilities 

• 1. Overall laboratory management: Responsible for set-up of new CMM machine and CMM lab, daily operation of CMM lab, staffing, 5S, safety and environmental control of the CMM laboratory to ensure standardized, efficient and orderly measurement work.

• 2. Measurement task and schedule control: Coordinate CMM measurement tasks for incoming materials, in-process products, finished products, tooling, fixtures and gauges; reasonably allocate workload to meet production and delivery requirements.

• 3. Measurement program and standard management: Organize the development, review and optimization of CMM programs, inspection specifications, datum setup and tolerance interpretation to ensure accurate, consistent and traceable measurement methods.

• 4. Equipment management and calibration: Oversee daily inspection, maintenance, periodic calibration and repair of CMMs, related measuring tools, probes and fixtures to ensure equipment accuracy and stability.

• 5. Data management and report review: Review measurement reports, CPK and SPC data; ensure authenticity and accuracy; timely feedback and follow up on dimensional abnormalities and out-of-tolerance issues.

• 6. Quality problem analysis and improvement: Participate in analysis of process abnormalities, customer complaints and dimensional deviations; provide data support and drive improvement verification, first-article inspection and change validation.

Qualifications for the Role

• Bachelor or above degree in Mechanical Engineering, electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 3 years working experience of CMM lab management.

• Good knowledge and experience in ISO9001:2000 and Lean 6 Sigma. ISO/TS16949 is preferred.

• Good experience in problem solving and capable of leading

• Familiar with office software operation and CAD.

• Communicate effectively, Commitment to excellence, Flexibility and self-learning, Problem solving, Teamwork, Technical orientation.

• Excellent written and oral English ability.
