Job Description

Rockwell Automation is hiring!

We are looking for a Business Lead - Electrical Components to be based in our Puchong, Malaysia office. You will report to Manager, Intelligent Devices, Southeast Asia. This is a hybrid role.

You will be a technical resource for Cubic products specifically. You are able to articulate capability and benefits of the portfolio when involved in product-centric pursuits.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for commercial & marketing support for Cubic product in SEA region.
  • Provide information to support management of the business to all levels
  • Ensure regional selling resources maintain the appropriate competencies across assigned products and services
  • Plan and implement commercial programs related to product responsibility.
  • Define and explain product differentiators and values versus competition
  • Have knowledge of competitor’s strategy, further define competitive differentiators.
  • Participate in trade shows, seminars and similar marketing activities to increase awareness of Cubic offerings
  • Provide product gap and development feedback to appropriate department.
  • Collaborate and share insights with regional peers

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor’ degree in Electrical engineering or related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales or product management within the Electrical equipment, Main Distribution Board, Switchboard, Motor Control Centers (MCCs) sectors.
  • Experience with Motor Control Centers, LV/MV electrical systems and related equipment such as switchgear, drives and control systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards (such as IEC-61439, IEC-61641, UL891, UL 508 and ANSI) and regulatory requirements for MCCs

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Experience working with consultants, contractors, panel builders and end-users in the Power, O&G, Semiconductor, Infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors
