The CVS Health Care Management Solutions organization designs, delivers, and operates configurable collection of products, initiatives, and tools that complement the benefit plans of our enterprise employer and health plan customers. Our solutions target population health outcomes that require risk mitigation, intervention, and ongoing chronic care management.  We use technology-enabled population identification based on multisource data integration – medical claims, pharmacy claims, lab data and member feedback – for applying evidence-based opportunities and an omnichannel, next best action approach. Advanced analytics drive higher engagement and better care delivery through a comprehensive machine learning platform and our one-on-one connections.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Product Manager for our Weight Management product within our Care Management Solutions team.

As a Product Manager for Weight Management, you will be responsible for managing overall product delivery and operations.  You will work directly with leaders from Product, Clinical, Operations, and Account Management to ensure successful product delivery that meets and exceeds client expectations.  You will monitor and track product performance against our operational and quality metrics.  You will define and execute new processes that drive greater efficiency and scalability for product.  You will identify opportunities to improve our member satisfaction, engagement, and health outcomes.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Be a key valued contributor on one of the fastest growing and most innovative care management programs within the CVS Health portfolio
  • Independently lead dozens of partners across Clinical, Product, Operations, Account Management, Member Care, and others to oversee Product Operations
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance; develop and implement oversight mechanisms
  • Monitor and maintain accountability for performance against established member satisfaction and engagement/ordering outcomes

  • Interpret performance against metrics to identify opportunities to improve the member experience and product operations
  • Lead stakeholders to enhance and improve workstreams and operations to solve pain points and drive increasing value  
  • Articulate workstream progress to leadership through written, visual, and verbal presentations
  • Communicate updates and impacts across matrix peers, leadership, and downstream stakeholders  

Capabilities:

The ideal candidate is a strategic and tactical problem solver with a “hands-on” orientation, who understands what it takes to drive real operating change, can create a sense of urgency, make decisions quickly, and effectively influence others.  They should be able to demonstrate:

  • A deep enjoyment for getting into the details of how the products work and defining the business outcomes required to support an intended member experience
  • Experience in business case development and quantitative analyses to support evaluation of product enhancement opportunities
  • A willingness to ‘get your hands’ dirty and work with legal, privacy, compliance, and operational partners to clear the way for a desired member experience to be implemented
  • Be highly inquisitive and curious, developing a deep understanding and subject matter expertise of the customer journey
  • Interpret data to build actionable insights and strategic recommendations to improve the product and/or customer experience
  • Powerful communication with the ability to succinctly convey complex requirements to a diverse range of constituents, both technical/development teams and business stakeholders
  • Fluency with common analytics and communications software – primarily Excel and PowerPoint (Tableau experience is a plus)
  • Relationship-building skills and the ability to foster effective working relations across a cross-functional team including functional and divisional leaders
  • A results-focused, self-starter mentality
  • Ability to develop clear goals and plans and deliver against them
  • Proactive thinking and delivering more than has been agreed
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and products at one time

Required Qualifications:

• 3 + years of experience in product design or product management, product strategy, or consulting, including member journey development and operational workflows

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a business-related or clinical field

• Previous experience working with remote teams

• Work experience within healthcare industry and specifically care management products

• Experience in operations and UM preferred (not required)

• Excellent design intuition/background

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Strong communication (written and oral) skills

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Location

This position is hybrid and can work from one of the CVS Health corporate locations in Boston, New York, Chicago, Woonsocket, Wellesley, Irving, or Scottsdale. Occasional travel is required (up to 10%) and will be more frequent for locations outside of Boston.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $159,120.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
