Summary of This Role

This is a senior network role based in Taiwan. We are looking to hire an experienced senior network engineer to manage and maintain our network. To ensure success as a senior network engineer, you should have extensive experience working with enterprise networks, high level managerial skills and advanced project management skills.  This position plays a critical role in delivering support service and business value to our clients. The role will be responsible for resolving escalated service issues and co-work with vendors implementing complex projects.

What Part Will You Play?

• Co-work with 3rd party vendors to support daily operations and maintenance
• Monitor network performance ( which included the terminal network )
• Review cloud and local network performance and integrity
• Co-work with vendors and report unusual security activities. Maintain complete network technical document.
• Maintaining & review of the SOP for Network security, drawing IP network status reports  
• Collaborate with the Information Security team and key management policies to ensure compliance with PCI DSS Standard
• Support annual audit and compliance assessment
• Participation in maintenance windows and on-call rotation is required

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• Advanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco, JUNOS
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, load balancing, firewalls, HTTP, SSL, DNS, SMTP
• Understanding of security best practices, server/network hardening
• At least 5 - 10 years relevant experience

What Are Our Desired Skills and Capabilities?

• Proven work experience as a senior network engineer or similar role
• Solid background in network administration and architecture
• A self-starter with initiative, comfortable working in a high paced FinTech business environment
• In-depth knowledge of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP), IPSEC, SSL VPN, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Familiarity with access control models and network security
• Knowledge of Cloud infras Platform
• Knowledge of Payment Card industry security standards is a plus
• Previous experience with technologies and process related to processing of payment cards is advantage
• Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin
