Responsibilities:
- Ensure company finances align with established procedures and systems.
- Assist the financial controller in preparing monthly management accounts.
- Take responsibility for VAT compliance and government statistics reporting.
- Manage and safeguard company assets.
- Support the Finance Manager in assisting the Management Team.
- Provide necessary support to ensure financial strategies are effectively implemented.
- Handle and delegate administrative tasks required by the post.
- Provide induction training on Methode accounting systems for new staff.
Requirements:
- ACCA qualified or partially qualified Accountant with at least 3 years work experience in accounting, combined with a demonstrated track record of accomplishments.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines and to work in a team environment.
- Ability to be flexible and multitasking.
- Methodical approach, enthusiastic with an emphasis on accuracy and quality of work.
- Goal Oriented Self Starter.
- PC-based computing experience is essential.
