Overview
Infrastructure Design Services is a team of Technology Architects and Engineers responsible for the analysis and design of the infrastructure framework to fit the application, platform or system needs in-line with MasterCard's operational standards and principles.
Role
• Serve as the lead infrastructure design authority for assigned programs, partnering with product and engineering teams to document, design, and validate infrastructure required to support thier products and deployments.
• Produce and own infrastructure technical designs (e.g., TADs, deployment models, dependency mappings), ensuring designs enable reliable, repeatable, and secure deployments across environments.
• Collaborate with security, network, and platform architecture teams to ensure designs are secure-by-design, compliant, and aligned to enterprise and Zero Trust standards.
• Act as a technical mentor and design reviewer, providing guidance, feedback, and quality oversight across infrastructure designs.


All About You
• Deep experience in infrastructure design and automation within large-scale enterprise environments, including IaC and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or similar).
• Strong background designing infrastructure across compute, storage, virtualization, container, and platform services, with a focus on automation enablement.
• Proven ability to translate program and product requirements into clear, deployable infrastructure designs and standards.
• Experience collaborating across product, platform, security, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Strong documentation, communication, and technical leadership skills.
• Experience working within highly regulated or security-focused environments.
