What will the role be about
This role is central to driving the commercial development of Petit Forestier Netherlands. As the sole commercial representative in the country, you will take ownership of developing new business, accelerating revenue, and contributing to the company’s long-term success.
The position offers direct exposure to national leadership responsibilities and a structured development path, enabling a talented commercial profile to take on a strategic role within the organization over time.
You will benefit from close support and mentoring by the Country Manager and collaborate actively with local depot managers to align sales activity with operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Proactive Prospecting & Business Development:
Lead proactive prospecting activities to acquire new customers in line with the Group’s growth strategy.
Build and maintain a dynamic pipeline of B2B leads using CRM, field visits, industry events, and targeted campaigns.
Capitalise on market demand for Electric Vehicles by promoting PF’s green solutions and full-service refrigerated fleet.
Open doors with new client segments, including food logistics, retail, pharma, and last-mile distribution.
Sales Execution & Commercial Growth:
Manage the entire commercial process: from initial contact through to contract signature, implementation, and after-sales.
Design tailored rental offers aligned with operational capabilities and pricing guidelines.
Monitor margins and profitability by customer and support cost control measures linked to rental usage and service delivery.
Collaborate closely with the Country Manager for strategic guidance and with depot managers for smooth implementation and follow-up.
Strategic Account Management:
Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell the PF range: containers, display units, multi-temp solutions, etc.
Coordinate closely with operations and support teams to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track commercial activity (visits, quotes, pipeline) and maintain accurate reporting through CRM and KPIs.
Analyse commercial trends and competitor activity to propose tactical actions.
Present monthly updates to the Country Manager and European management.
Leadership Path & Transition Planning:
Participate actively in local business reviews, budget planning, and operational decision-making.
Gain progressive exposure to key leadership topics such as P&L, HR coordination, compliance, and depot operations.
Be supported by the Country Manager in developing broader management skills with a long-term growth perspective.
Who are we looking for

Demonstrated potential for people management.
Highly autonomous and results-driven with strategic thinking.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with branch and Group support teams.
Strong CRM (Salesforce) and MS Office proficiency.
Valid B driving licence and national mobility.
Preferred Qualifications
5–8 years in B2B sales or business development, ideally in mobility, fleet rental, logistics, or refrigerated transport.
Proven track record in winning new business and opening accounts.
Strong commercial negotiation experience and margin-focused mindset.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or equivalent professional experience.
Dutch: Fluent (native).
English: Professional level.
French is a plus.
