Summary:
As a Data Migration Engineer, a typical day involves managing the entire data migration process by carefully extracting data from source systems, transforming it according to specific business rules, and loading it into the designated target environment. This role requires building and executing migration scripts, monitoring the progress of data transfers, and validating the results to ensure accuracy and consistency. The position demands close attention to detail and coordination with various stakeholders to maintain data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and migration objectives.
- Monitor and troubleshoot migration processes to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Document migration procedures and maintain comprehensive records of data transformations.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support during migration activities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Informatica Administration.
- Experience in managing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Strong knowledge of data validation techniques to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Ability to develop, test, and optimize migration scripts and workflows.
- Familiarity with database management and query languages to support migration tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges during data migration.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Informatica Administration.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
