Department Overview

Job Description

  • Drive resolution of complex multi-disciplinary problems/customer feedback using defined tool/tracking mechanism and using an 8D methodology throughout issue investigation to drive high customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with the cross functional teams within the organization to drive resolution of quality tickets raised by the internal and external customers.

  • Champion design and manufacturing improvements based on return data analysis trends to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and enhance customer experience.

  • Facilitate and lead all cross functional activities to effectively address stop-ship/stop-build events, utilizing an 8D methodology to drive issues to effective and timely resolution. 

  • Develop, maintain and report on product quality Metrics/KPIs relating to stated Goals and Objectives on a regular interval.

  • Work closely with all departments in regards to ISO implementation, issues, maintenance and improvement activities.

  • Organize, conduct, and assist in company-wide ISO internal and external audit programs from planning, implementation, report generation, corrective action issuance, verification and closure.

  • Coordinate appropriate and effective corrective and preventive (CAPA) actions in response to pertinent observations and findings from the internal / external audits, customer complaints and other internal / external non-conformances.

  • Active involvement with Design Engineering teams to ensure that adequate reliability test plans are established to achieve reliability and warranty goals for the project.

  • Gatekeeper for the new product release into manufacturing that meets the defined product specifications and requirements.


Basic Requirements

  • B.Sc. or Diploma. degree in quality, engineering, project management, manufacturing

  • 3+ years of work experience in quality management (HW manufacturing or HW supplier), HW development or testing, or HW project management

  • Knowledge of problem-solving methods 

  • Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO, CMMI, etc.

  • Knowledge and experience in applying process improvement models (e.g. Digital Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) 

  • Excellent self-management skills

  • Strong data analytical skills

  • Proactiveness and result-oriented approach

  • Cross-culture understanding

  • Highly collaborative approach (team player)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

The following skills will be a plus:

  • Knowledge of hardware development and testing processes and metrics

  • Certification in quality assurance, or Six Sigma belt holder

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies

  • Knowledge of risk management 

  • Auditing skills (e.g. ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification)
