The Follow Up Boss team helps real estate professionals run their businesses more effectively through CRM technology, onboarding, and ongoing partnership. This team plays a key role in helping customers adopt the platform successfully by turning business needs into practical system solutions that drive long-term value.

About the role

As an Implementation Consultant, you will be the bridge between new customers and long-term success with Follow Up Boss. You will guide customers through onboarding, system setup, data migration, integrations, and admin training, helping them adopt the platform in ways that fit their business goals and workflows. Your work will shape the customer experience from kickoff through handoff and help set every customer up for lasting success.

 

You Will Get To

  • Own the end-to-end implementation process from kickoff through admin training and customer handoff.

  • Configure Follow Up Boss to align with customer workflows, team structures, permissions, lead routing, inboxes, and phone setup.

  • Manage implementation timelines, milestones, risks, and customer-facing communication throughout the onboarding process.

  • Support data migrations, imports, exports, and third-party integrations across each customer’s tech stack.

  • Troubleshoot implementation issues, escalate effectively when needed, and partner with Support or Engineering to resolve blockers.

  • Gather customer goals and feedback, and turn those insights into implementation recommendations and process improvements.

  • Deliver admin training and create documentation that helps customers manage their setup and integrations over time.

  • Partner with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Support to ensure smooth handoffs, strong feedback loops, and a seamless customer experience.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $29.30 - $46.70 hourly. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $27.80 - $44.40 hourly. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are

  • SaaS implementation, technical account management, or consulting, ideally supporting CRM or other SaaS implementation, technical account management, SaaS implementation, technical account SaaS implementation, technical

    3+ years of experience in SaaS implementation, technical account management, or consulting, ideally supporting CRM or other customer-facing platforms.

  • Experience with CRM systems such as Follow Up Boss, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar tools.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer implementations and communicate status, risks, and next steps clearly.

  • Comfort working with APIs, integrations, data imports and exports, data mapping, and spreadsheet-based data cleanup.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and stakeholders.

  • A customer-first mindset, including empathy, problem-solving, sound judgment, and calm communication in escalated situations.

  • Familiarity with Zapier, real estate technology platforms, or related integrations is a plus.
