Experienced Software Development Engineer

We are pleased to offer an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Adobe Experience Platform team in Bucharest.

Adobe Experience Platform centralizes and standardizes customer data and content across enterprises, powering 360-degree customer profiles. This facilitates real-time personalized experiences driven by data science and governance. We support thousands of customers in managing petabytes of data, delivering insights, and running algorithms to craft delightful real-time experiences. What You’ll Do:

• Develop future Adobe products by building and maintaining complex features in a large-scale, multi-cloud microservices SaaS environment.
• Take initiative and ownership of application development efforts, optimizing for quality, scalability, and performance.
• Innovate continuously by seeking novel methods to address complex technical challenges in distributed systems.
• Mentor team members, encouraging a collaborative environment with honest and direct mentorship.
• Collaborate across teams and domains.
• Drive projects with clarity and precision, maintaining strong ownership and direction.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Computer Science degree and/or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent understanding of OOP, Functional Programming, Typed Languages, and software life-cycle.
• Proven ability to research and master new technologies.
• Passion for computer science, software development, and internet applications.
• Experience with cloud service platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
• Demonstrated experience in building, delivering, and operating high-quality SaaS solutions, including testing, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with NoSql technologies (e.g., Kafka, Cassandra, HBase) is a plus.
• A keen eye for security-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
