Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of our BWRX-300 Maintenance Program as we scale for first-of-a-kind and fleet deployments. You will define the product strategy—from market analysis and requirements gathering to development and commercial launch—while managing the ongoing service portfolio.
By partnering with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain, you will deliver standardized maintenance strategies and digital solutions that drive O&M cost efficiency, maximize plant availability, and establish a robust, scalable services backlog for our BWRX-300 customers.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the BWRX-300 Maintenance Strategy product roadmap, aligning product strategy to business goals and market needs
  • Investigate and define customer requirements through data-backed market intelligence; develop Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify gaps and opportunities in GVH's maintenance product portfolio
  • Lead engineering teams in the development of risk-informed maintenance strategies for BWRX-300 systems and components, including Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Preventive Maintenance (PM) program design, and Surveillance Testing programs
  • Define condition monitoring requirements for critical BWRX-300 systems and components, leveraging predictive and prescriptive maintenance methodologies to reduce unplanned corrective maintenance
  • Lead the development of long-term service agreement (LTSA) frameworks incorporating outcome-based guarantees, including plant capacity factor, forced outage rate, planned outage duration, and equipment reliability metrics
  • Define performance guarantee structures that balance customer value, commercial risk, and GVH's delivery capabilities, including performance measurement methodologies and remedy provisions
  • Define demand forecasts and consumption models for BWRX-300 spare parts, supporting the growth of GVH's spare parts business and the establishment of fleet-wide critical spare inventories
  • Develop critical spare parts lists (CSPL) in collaboration with engineering, reliability, and supply chain teams, identifying long-lead, safety-significant, and single-source components requiring strategic stocking
  • Champion the integration of GVH maintenance programs with utility Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as IBM Maximo, including PM task libraries, equipment hierarchies, and work order structuring
  • Lead requirements definition for Asset Performance Management (APM) capabilities — including GE Vernova APM — to enable condition-based and predictive maintenance strategies across the BWRX-300 fleet
  • Design and execute New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Technology Introduction (NTI) programs, including financial analysis, budgeting, and resource planning
  • Lead Multi-Generational Product Planning (MGPP) to support long-term growth and expansion of the maintenance product portfolio
  • Develop and own the product business model, setting cost and price targets based on market value and competitive positioning
  • Drive product commercialization, launch, and deployment in coordination with marketing, sales, and regional teams
  • Ensure phase-gate reviews are completed on time, developing and communicating the criteria for each stage of the product development process
  • Develop and maintain Approval to Quote (ATQ) documents, providing formal internal authorization to prepare and issue commercial proposals to customers
  • Monitor and communicate program performance against key metrics, including market share, profit margins, and return on investment
  • Conduct product risk assessments and collaborate across engineering, supply chain, marketing, sales, and regional teams to identify growth opportunities and ensure successful product delivery

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, product development, asset management, or a related commercial/technical role within the energy or industrial sector

  • Digital & Asset Management: Hands-on experience with CMMS (e.g., IBM Maximo) and APM platforms (e.g., GE Vernova APM), with exposure to digital twins, condition monitoring, and AI/ML predictive maintenance workflows.
  • Strategic Growth & NPI: Experience in New Product/Technology Introduction (NPI/NTI) and phase-gate processes, supported by strong analytical skills in market research, pricing strategy, and business case development.
