Job Description​

The Opportunity:


Anderson County Hospital in Garnett, KS is seeking a Critical Response Nurse (CRN) for their medical surgical and emergency departments. As a RN on this team, you will have the opportunity to provide care to acute care and skilled rehab patients with various conditions and diagnoses. In this position, you will be trained and supported to float over to the Medical Surgical as needed. Training and certification assistance will be provided to support your success in this role. This team uses leading technology, evidence based practice and a collaborative environment to ensure our patients get the best care possible.

Shift Details

  • Full-Time - 36 hours per week
  • Nights

The Work:

  • Utilizes the nursing process
  • Performs patient care
  • Delegates patient care tasks 
  • Supervises other patient care staff
  • Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients 
  • Consults with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. 
  • Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures

This is an unpredictable position that will require you to change priorities quickly and often. Strong ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task is required.
