Summary: As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Your typical day will involve creating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems. You will play a crucial role in the data engineering team, contributing to the development of robust and scalable data solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Design and develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data across systems. - Ensure data quality by implementing data validation and cleansing processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate solutions. - Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for improved performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Analytics Services. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Data Building Tool DBT, Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices. - Experience with data modeling and database design. - Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Scala. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. - Knowledge of data integration and ETL tools. - Experience with version control systems like Git. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Analytics Services. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - Full-time education is required.
